Hello All,
It is finally Spring Term at Drexel and our project is very close to being finished.
The machining for all the majors parts should be done by the middle of next week. We had an issue with one of our parts, which, due to time constraints, required us to use some ingenuity and alter the design of the gun. The redesign does have some advantages. For instance, before, the projectile would have had to been muzzle-loaded from the front of the barrel and it would have required us to move the gun out its firing position so we could load. The current design allows for loading through the back, so we won't have to move the gun at all to load it. Also, the machining of the parts is all identical between the front and back plates now (except for the filling port on the back plate).
You can see the current revision of drawings here.
Here are some pics from the lab:

Almost completed manifold for our gun, as well as the Kolsky gun which will be operating right next to ours.
The breech for our gun being sanded
All piping to the gun from the tanks has been completed and preliminary piping leak tests have been completed. The compressed air tank will run to our gun and the compressed nitrogen will run to the Kolsky.
Initial drawings for the rail system on which the gun will sit. Parts have been ordered and construction should begin this week.
